How Brian’s Doing in 2025

  • My symptoms are increasing cognitive loss, and difficulty controlling depression and anger—for example, we had to rehome our dog Pepper because I couldn’t keep from kicking her. Everything takes more energy now, so I just work half-time. But I have no loss of motor control. Woo hoo!
  • We built a house on our daughter’s farm near Cincinnati—www.WeathertreeFarm.com—and moved there in June 2023. It’s beautiful here and we’re near family. We also were able to change features of the house so it’ll be easier to navigate when I have motor symptoms, need a walker or wheelchair. Things like higher electrical outlets, a door from the garage to the house that doesn’t require a step, wider doorways, and lots of big windows. Here’s a view of the back, looking over the frozen pond.
